Frequently Asked Questions

What's the latest news about Fluke Connect®?

Recently, we announced the release of Fluke Connect® Assets, a cloud-based system of software and wireless test tools that helps maintenance managers simplify preventive maintenance with a comprehensive view of what is happening in the plant, even from their own office.

Users in the United States are able to purchase single or multiple-license subscriptions to the new software in order to benefit from advanced features like asset analysis and reporting, enabling them to make maintenance data-driven decisions more easily and more quickly. The Fluke Corporation will be expanding the software offering to additional markets later this year.

Later in 2015, Fluke Connect® users will benefit from additional work order features, leading to additional productivity gains and less downtime. Additional features will include the ability to generate, update and track the status of work orders, as well as performing labor analysis.

I am currently using Fluke Connect® Measurements. Will my features stay the same? How do I upgrade?

Yes. If you were a Fluke Connect® user prior to June 1, 2015, you already have access to the features of Fluke Connect® Assets, as well as the ability to organize and visualize multiple data types by piece of equipment in one view in a web browser and then report on it. If you registered for a Fluke Connect account on or after June 1, you'll benefit from the advanced features of Fluke Connect Assets by either joining the free trial offer or by purchasing a subscription for your team. Learn more about how the features compare.

How does Fluke Connect® Assets differ from Fluke Connect® Measurements?

Fluke Connect® Measurements, when used with a free app on selected mobile phones running the Android or iOS operating system, allows a user to capture a measurement with wireless tools, save it to the Fluke Cloud™, and share with colleagues via email or live sharing through ShareLive™ video calls. Fluke Connect Measurements is a free subscription.

With Fluke Connect® Assets, not only can teams collaborate with other team members by storing and sharing data, they can look at data associated with equipment per asset in a web browser on their mobile device. There, maintenance professionals see a comprehensive view of all critical equipment including status changes, historical data, and current data. This enables users to set up and sustain a preventive maintenance (PM) or a condition-based maintenance (CBM) system easily.
